This standard provides network-to-customer installation interface requirements for analog voicegrade Enhanced 911 switched access to a Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) customer installation (CI). The interface allows a user of the Enhanced 911 System to communication with the PSAP CI and allows the Enhanced 911 switching system to transmit the caller's emergency services identification information to the PSAP CI.
