Three series of accurate laboratory thermometers of solid-stem, mercury-in-glass type, overall length about 400 mm; Series A and B are graduated in either Celsius or Fahrenheit for either total or partial immersion. Tolerances given for each thermometer in the series. Appendix gives procedure and recommended values for average emergent liquid column temperature for using partial immersion thermometers.
