Sampling plans and procedures for inspection, that can be used when the switching rules of Part 1 (formerly BS 6001:1972) are not applied, e.g. for 'isolated lots'. Preferred series of limiting qualities (LQ) with consumer's risk usually below 10%. Rationalizes the 'ad hoc' procedure mentioned in 11.6 of Part 1.
