Scope

Details test and examination criteria for gas appliance connectors limited to a maximum nominal length of 6 feet (1.83m). Such connectors are suitable for connecting gas-fired appliances to fixed gas supply lines containing natural, manufactured or mixed gases, liquefied petroleum gases or LP gas-air mixtures at pressures not in excess of 1/2 psig (3.5 kPa). These connectors are intended for use with residential and commercial gas appliances that are not frequently moved after installation.
