Preface The standards set forth herein apply to the first edition of American National Standard for Gas Utilization Equipment in Large Boilers, Z83.3-1971, and supersede corresponding standards therein. Following their preparation by the supervising subcommittee, they were accepted by the American National Standards Committee Z83, and subsequently adopted as American National Standard by the American National Standards Institute, Inc.
