1. Scope

This Standard applies to portable and stationary, incandescent and gaseous discharge stage and studio luminaires of types suitable for use in dry, damp, or wet locations, intended for use in nonhazardous locations and for connection to a supply circuit of 600 V and less between conductors, designed to be installed and used in accordance with the Rules of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I.
