Data Protection Update Service

The Electronic Data Protection Update Service will provide you with the complete set of current data protection publications and will be updated throughout 2003. The publication will provide you with guidance for the implementation of the Act itself and will also deal specifically with areas such as email policy, database management, subject access and e-commerce. The guidance has been prepared with the assistance of the Office of the Information Commissioner and representatives from UK industry, local government and the NHS. The fully searchable CD-ROM will enhance your understanding of this Act and ensure that you have introduced with confidence the core and ancillary processes that the Act requires.
