DIN Handbook 405

The fifth edition of DIN Handbook 405 contains 20 European and International Standards (DIN EN, DIN EN ISO and DIN ISO Standards), dealing with stainless steel, high-temperature and heat resisting steels, valve materials, resistance alloys and welded circular and seamless steel tubes, and reflecting new technological developments since the "first generation" European Standards were issued. There are three new additions to the Handbook (DIN EN 10296-2 and DIN EN 10297-2 on welded circular steel tubes and seamless steel tubes for mechanical and general engineering purposes, and DIN EN ISO 7153-1 dealing with stainless steel for surgical instruments) and five revisions. A comprehensive index gives users a practical overview of the entire series. The index also gives the titles of further quality standards and draft standards on steel products, as well as cross-references to the standards included in DIN Handbook 28 (on dimensional standards) and references to equivalent ISO and IEC Standards.
