JIS K 2228:2017 specifies non-petroleum base rubber lubricant (hereafter referred to as rubber lubricant), to be applied to the components of automobile brakes which use non-petroleum base brake fluids for transmission of working pressure. This Standard is not applicable to petroleum base or silicone base brake fluids.
