SMPTE 425-2008

This standard specifies the direct mapping of various television and D-Cinema source image formats as defined in Table 1 below; the carriage of embedded audio; the carriage of ancillary data and the stream ID, in a serial digital interface operating at a nominal rate of 3Gb/s.

This standard also specifies the mapping of 2 x SMPTE 292 HD SDI interfaces including SMPTE 372M into a serial digital interface operating at a nominal rate of 3Gb/s.
