This practice recommends the allocation of stereo audio tracks on quadruplex television tape recorders employing a split audio head, 1-in types B and C, 3/4-in type E, and 1/2-in types H, L, and M, for the exchange of stereo program material between television organizations. It also recommends an identification procedure if noise reduction is employed, and identification and marking of the tape reel or cassette and the associated box.
