Discontinued due to material's obsolescence and regulatory concerns. MP 24 is a current alternative but not a direct substitute for M 248.

This specification covers alkyd resin type, ready-mixed white and yellow traffic paints for use on bituminous and portland cement concrete pavements.

These paints may be reflectorized for night visibility by adding reflective spheres before the paint film dries or sets, using the drop-on or pressurized methods.
