Now updated to provide clarification, these requirements apply to all discrete semiconductors, integrated circuits and hybrids, whether packaged or in wafer/die form, manufactured by all component Manufacturers. This revision was incorporated to better define the requirements for the handling of moisture-sensitive devices in distribution. The addition of IPC/JEDEC J-STD-020 and IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033 ensure consistent requirements throughout the distribution channel.
